9 Feb 2017: Community Youth Centre outdoor lights - the offical launch, featuring representatives of some of the organisations which had helped to fund the project.

6 Mar 2017: Presentation to Margaret Wilson at the Council meeting marking her retirement from the Town Council after many years of service. Also featured were the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Town Clerk.

13 Mar 2017: Commonwealth Day: Flag ceremony held at the Town Hall marking Commonwealth Day. Proceedings underway with the Bellman, various speeches from community leaders and final rendition of the National Anthem.

24 March 2017: The visit by the Merville Veterans. 

March 2017: Paul Lewington: A collection of prior images of Orangeman - Paul Lewington - to support commemoratives after his untimely death (See Ale Tasting below).

2 Apri 2017: Litter Pick: The volunteers cleaning up our town - organised by the Town Council.

14 Apr 2017: The Multi-denominational Good Friday service outside the Town Hall - passing shots.

21 Apr 2017: The Mayor's Reception. Mayor Martin Crane's final reception before handing over the role. Present were DC Dennis Benneyworth, and Chairman of the West Berks DC Quentin Webb.

24 Apr 2017: Ale Tasting. Hocktide Ale tasting hosted by Ed Sackville and Bruce Mayhew. The Constable paid tribute to Paul Lewington.

24 Apr 2017: Police Horses visiting Hungerford. A publicity event by the local police force - pics taken to feature recognisably local backdrops.

25 Apr 2017: Tutti Day - the morning events on Tutti Day - court session involves Greg Furr taking over duties from Robert James.

25 Apr 2017: Tutti Day extra - the afternoon events at the URC - children's workshop and sweetie scramble, and officers outside the Tutti Pole restaurant.

30 Apr 2017: Constable Sunday - Parade and church service for Constable Ellie Dickins.

1 May 2017: Margaret Wison's presentation of Freedom of the Town of Hungerford by newly install High Sheriff Sarah Scrope.

19 May 2017: Mayoral Portraits - Publicity shots of the new mayor Keith Knight and Deputy Helen Simpson.

May 2017: 6 BridgeStreet - Pictures taken during the rebuilding of the property (requested by Greg Furr).

10 Jun 2017: St. Lawrence's Church Fête held in the Croft Field.

15 Jun 2017: United Reformed Church - Publicity shots of the interior requested by the Rev David Bunney.

17 Jun 2017: Summer Fête at Community Youth Centre.

18 Jun 2017: Hungerford Hares' public 8km race. Action from the Templeton water station.

24 Jun 2017: Armed Forces Day - the parade in the High Street and the honour party taking the salute.

30 Jun - 16 Jul: HADCAF Arts Festival. 

1 Jul 2017: Hungerford Town Council Grants - Publicity given to the award by Hungerford Town Councilto many local organisations - certificates itemise.

20 Aug 2017: Tragedy 30th Anniversary - Marking the 30th anniverary of the shooting tragedy with a service at St Lawrence Church (Press video excluded but my photographic attendance endorsed) and a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tragedy Memorial at the Recreation Ground in Bulpit Lane.

19 Sep 2017: Neighbourhood Watch meeting - attended by local MP Richard Benyon.

29 Sep 2017: McMillan Coffee Morning - the annual fund-raising activity hosted by Fiona Hobson at the United Reformed Church.

30 Sep 2017: Town Band Harvest Festival Concert - held in St Lawrence's Church during their harvest festival celebrations.

8 Oct 2017: Food Festival - The annual food festival in the High Street and Corn Exchange with prizes presented by Becky Jones for the sponsors Doves Farm of Hungerford. Winners' certificate itemise awards.

13 Oct 2017: Literary Festival - Martin Bell - Hungerford Bookshop Literary Festival held at the Croft Hall - guest Martin Bell renowned reporter and foreign/war correspondent.

14 Oct 2017: Literary Festival - Andrew Martin - Hungerford Bookshop Literary Festival held at the Croft Hall - guest Andrew Martin, author of railway and travel books and TV broadcaster.

20 Oct 2017: Post Office opens in WH Smith - The WH Smith shop has been open for over a week and now the Post Office implant is open for business. The Mayor cuts the ribbon in the company of WHS management and local staff, and the first two customers get photo calls.

11 Nov 2017: Armistice Ceremony - The weather is sombre, matching the tone of the ceremony conducted by Jack Williams, President of the local branch of the Royal British Legion.

11 Nov 2017: Christmas Carol Competition - organised by Iris Lloyd seeking a new carol to be added to the Town Band's repertoire. Ten new carols went head to head, judged by organist Chris Buck, town band conductor Tim Crouter and Iris Lloyd. Small prize awarded.

12 Nov 2017: Remembrance Parade - Pictures taken from a step ladder on the canal bridge!

24 Nov 2017: Rev Mike and Alison Saunders.

3 Dec 2017: Christmas Lights switch-on - The Christmas lights switched-on by local author Robert Harris after performances by local singers and groups. Santa helped this year by his daughter!

4 Dec 2017: Christmas Lights - A few record shots of the lights as installed this year - challenging photography in low light and uncomfortable conditions.

8 Dec 2017: Extravaganza - Even more challenging to take action photos in those same conditions (as the Christmas Lights), relying on a powerful flash gun.

17 Dec 2017: Mayor's Carol Service - The annual Carol Service hosted by the Mayor & Town Council at St Lawrence. Readings by civic leaders and presentation of award for the design of the programme cover.
