You are in [Archives] [Photographic Archives] [John Brooks's Drawings]

John Brooks was a skilled draughtman who lived in Hungerford in the 1970s and 80s. He loved timber-framed buildings and was key in the investigation of several timber-framed buildings in Hungerford when he worked with the Buildings Group of the Hungerford Historical Association in the early 1980s.

He provided the wonderful drawings for "A Walk About Hungerford" written by Dr Hugh Pihlens in 1988. He moved away from Hungerford a few years later and died unexpectedly.

The Photo Gallery shows a collection of some of his drawings of Hungerford buildings.
