You are in [Places] [Bridges of Hungerford] [Hidden Bridge and Little Hidden Bridge]

Hidden Bridge:

As the A338 leads north from the A4 T-junction in Eddington, the road passes over Harvey's Stream (which flows from Eddington Mill through Harvey's Meadow to re-join the river Kennet). The stream has been out of sight for some distance, flowing under the forecourt of A4 Tool Hire and the petrol stationm.

West Berkshire Council have numbered this bridge as No. 80 - and given it the name of  Hidden Bridge. It is not known how it derived this name, possibly from the nearby Hidden Farm, or possibly simply because it is so hidden?!

Little Hidden Bridge:

Nearby is Little Hidden Bridge, which carries the A4 over Harvey’s Stream. It seems that West Berkshire Council has also given this bridge a structure reference code of 80.
